Please note that the below information was for equipment purchased in 2013. These tax credits have now expired and are no longer available for residential heating and cooling equipment purchased after December 31, 2013. Extension of these tax credits is currently up for debate in the US Congress. Please check back with us for updated information.

Residential heating and cooling systems that meet Energy Star standards may qualify for tax credits. Commercial systems meeting the Energy Star and ASHRAE standards may also qualify for deductions.

The tax code changes from year to year as the federal government continues to incentivize more energy-efficient home comfort systems.
